On July 4, 2026, I attended Yukon Freedom Fest at Chisholm Trail Park in Yukon, Oklahoma, to document one of the state's largest Independence Day celebrations. The event marked the 250th anniversary of American independence and featured live music, food vendors, family activities, inflatables, water slides, contests, community gatherings, and patriotic displays throughout the park. The evening entertainment included performances from local musicians and the band Super Freak, drawing families and visitors from across the Oklahoma City metro area.
