Primarily a self-taught portrait photographer in Oklahoma City. I started out photographing landscapes in countries like Italy, Germany, and Okinawa. I did everything I could that didn’t involve talking to people. I played with infrared film, developed black & white images, and even tried nature photography. It was absolutely wonderful. I didn’t have to talk to anyone! I set up the camera, check the focus, and attach the remote; now out comes the Kahlua mixed with coffee. I thought I found the true meaning of living life.
But I was missing something.
A family friend saw some of my images and asked if I could do her daughter’s senior photos. I said, “Sure at your own risk. I’m a landscape photographer!” After the shoot, I realized what was missing. My true passion lies in photographing people.
Once I got back to Oklahoma in 2006, I took some basic photography classes. So now I have been an Oklahoma City people portraits for the last 3 years. I have worked with agencies, shot fashion shows, helped build modeling portfolios and have even been published in Glass Hat Magazine a premier Oklahoma magazine featuring the best Oklahoma artists and models nationwide. A couple of my images has appeared in the Individual Artists of Oklahoma gallery (IAO).
There are literally thousands of photographers out there!
So instead of competing for the same customers, I spent the last two years fine tuning my composition, technical aspects, and experimenting with light. Creating images that stand out. Yes, I spend more time retouching my images. If you want normal images. You could just choose anyone with a camera to get what you needed.
I have served the metro Oklahoma City area since 2006. I also Norman, Edmond, Moore, Yukon, NW OKC, Nichols Hills, Warr Acres, Midwest City and Del City.
